Stephen Peyser

Stephen Peyser is the Global Head of Trading and Capital Markets at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., a position held since February 2025, where responsibilities include leading global trading across cash, derivatives, and capital markets to optimize execution and manage risk. Prior to this role, Peyser served as the Head of US Cash Equity Trading and Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from May 2014 to March 2025. Additionally, Peyser has experience as a Major League Lacrosse Player with the Chesapeake Bayhawks and Major League Lacrosse from 2008 to 2014, and held the position of Vice President in Equity Trading at Goldman Sachs from July 2012 to March 2014, focusing on consumer discretionary sectors. Peyser earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from The Johns Hopkins University in 2008.
