Steve Schurr

Steve Schurr currently serves as Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., a position held since June 2021. Previously, Steve worked as a Portfolio Manager at Point72 from July 2018 to April 2021, after serving as Managing Director at Brahman Capital from October 2011 to June 2018. Earlier in the career, Steve held the role of Partner at Harrier Hawk Management and Senior Analyst at Kynikos Associates. Steve began professional experience as a Journalist at the Financial Times. Steve earned a BA in English Literature and American Studies from Princeton University between 1989 and 1993.
