Jignesh Khambayat

Jignesh Khambayat is a skilled research assistant currently engaged at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung since August 2023, focusing on the design and development of additively manufactured components using multilaser powder bed fusion for EOS M300-4 qualification. Previously, Jignesh worked at Fraunhofer IWS from October 2022 to April 2023, where contributions included the development and implementation of a metal 3D printing project for space applications involving Ni-Ti and AlSi alloys, as well as metallography of printed specimens. An earlier role as a scientific intern involved developing a holistic process chain for additive manufacturing of medical applications, specifically bioresorbable vascular scaffold implants. Jignesh holds a Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing from Technische Universität Chemnitz and has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from K.K.Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, complemented by a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic Jalgaon.
