Erik Hoeksema

Erik Hoeksema is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and management. Currently serving as Department Head of Sustainability at BAM Infra Nederland, Erik leads a team of sustainability consultants focused on advising infrastructure projects. Prior roles include Division Manager at Milgro's Wastelab, where innovation in waste and raw materials was accelerated, and Program Manager for KPMG’s 100th anniversary initiatives. Additionally, Erik has held senior management positions in sustainability consulting at KPMG, worked on ecological footprint projects at DCE Consultants, and managed logistics for prominent companies like Nokia and Heineken. Erik's entrepreneurial spirit is evident from founding Beerenboot IT, an Internet start-up. Erik holds master's degrees in Business Information Technology from the University of Twente and Business Administration with a focus on Accounting & Control from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
