Ashima Gupta

Ashima Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ashima is currently the Director of Engineering at BambooBox since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Development Consultant at BambooBox from January 2021 to June 2021.

Before joining BambooBox, Ashima worked at Dell as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering from March 2017 to May 2020.

From 2013 to 2016, Ashima worked at Support.com, where they held multiple roles. Ashima started as a Principal Software Engineer from February 2013 to March 2014, responsible for enhancing and developing new features for the PTS product suite. Subsequently, they became a Product Development Manager from April 2014 to December 2016, where they managed the PTS product suite for tech support agents and successfully implemented solutions for integration with various retail partners.

Prior to Support.com, Ashima worked at Aptean (previously known as Consona) as a Senior Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer from July 2009 to January 2013. In this role, they worked on ProactiveAssist, a suite of self-healing tools that detected system issues and implemented automated solutions.

Before joining Aptean, Ashima worked at SupportSoft as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2008 to June 2009. Ashima was involved in designing and developing the Analyst side application and web service for Remote Tango, a SaaS tool used by agents to remotely connect to customers' PCs.

At the start of their career, Ashima worked at Aricent as a Technical Leader from June 2004 to May 2008. Ashima managed an offshore team and was responsible for project estimations, requirements analysis, and development of supervisory maintenance and load test tools for NTTSoft.

Ashima's career began at HCL Technologies as a Software Engineer from August 2001 to May 2004. Ashima worked on various projects, including application development and testing for their customer, Denso Corporation. Ashima handled the verification module for the Program Check Tool and managed the project database and translation library for the Localization tool.

Ashima Gupta attended Chatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Kanpur University in Kanpur from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science. Ashima also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
