Makenna P.

Makenna P. has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. Makenna began their career as a Host/Server Assistant at Logan's Roadhouse. In 2018, they worked as a Data Entry Representative at West Michigan Dental Professionals and as a Server at Pizza Hut. Makenna also served as a Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General in 2019. In 2017, they began working as a Lacrosse Goalie Coach at G-Squad Lacrosse. In 2020, they became a Science Laboratory Assistant at Davenport University, where they assisted the science lab coordinator and science faculty prior to, during, and after laboratory courses. In 2021, they were a Summer Research Opportunity Program - Student Intern at Michigan State University, where they completed week-long courses in Statistics & Bioinformatics, worked collaboratively in small groups, attended workshops for professional development & networking events, and presented a research poster at the 2021 Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (Mid-SURE) Conference. Most recently, in 2022, Makenna P. began working as a Radiopharmacy Operations Specialist at BAMF Health.

Makenna P. began their education in 2014 at Caledonia High School, where they graduated in 2017. Makenna then attended Davenport University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Laboratory Science in 2022. In addition, Makenna P. obtained certifications in Conflicts of Interest and Social and Behavioral Research from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY, in November 2020.
