The Manager, Credit & Collections is responsible for optimizing cash flow and minimizing financial risks.  The position will enforce company credit policies, manage customer credit relationships, oversee collection efforts, and supervise aspects of the AR function. The position leads a global team of collection agents in Central America and the US.   What YOU will do: ·       Responsible for primary oversight of all credit and collection functions for the company ·       Oversees investigation of credit risk for both new and existing customers, establishes and maintains customer credit limits, and advises on course of action for new credit applications ·       Performs daily review of orders on credit hold, then determine course of action to resolve exceptions ·       Monitors and negotiates on the collection of overdue accounts and, when appropriate, recommends outside collection resources ·       Identifies customer credit and billing issues, then drives resolution with sales and customer service ·       Investigates and resolves customer deductions ·       Continuously reviews past due AR and provide regular reports and action plans to management ·       Effectively uses technology to streamline processes and procedures in all credit and AR functions ·       Participates in the training, orientation and ongoing growth and professional development of credit personnel in Central America ·       Manages relationships with credit reporting and collection agencies ·       Oversees preparation of all Proof-of-Claim filings relative to customer bankruptcy proceedings   Who YOU are: Bi-Lingual Spanish/English Speaker ·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field ·       7+ years’ experience in Credit /Collections  ·       3+ years’ experience in Management/ Supervision ·       Proficient in interpreting commercial credit reports and financial statements ·       Advanced Excel, other MS Office applications ·       Strong knowledge of ERP software, SAP preferred
