BANANAS, Inc is a Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, helping parents to find the right child care situation for their children. The agency started as an all-volunteer service in 1973.  BANANAS is also an Alternative Payment Program, receiving state and federal grant money for child care subsidies, so that low income families can find quality child care for their children in order to work or attend school.
