Dr. Amitava Rakshit Fses

Dr. Amitava Rakshit is a distinguished academic at Banaras Hindu University, serving as a Professor, Associate Professor, and Faculty member. With extensive experience in agricultural administration, Dr. Rakshit also held the role of Assistant Director of Agriculture for the Government of West Bengal. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Soil Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Master's Degree in Soil Sciences from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar. Dr. Rakshit is also recognized as a Fellow of the European Society of Soil Science (FSES) and a Fellow of TWAS (The World Academy of Sciences) in Italy.
