Toby Daspit

Toby Daspit serves as the Professor of Education and Department Head at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a position held since August 2004, alongside an interim role as Department Head. Daspit is recognized as a rogue poet and curriculum theorist. Prior experience includes co-directing the Acadiana Writing Project from 2005 to 2011 and serving as an Assistant/Associate Professor at Western Michigan University from 1998 to 2004. Educational credentials were also earned at Western Michigan University between 1998 and 2004.
