Fernando Frank Chang

Fernando Frank Chang, MBA, CIA, CFSA, CLBB, CRCM, CRMA has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Fernando Frank is currently employed as a VP, Senior Credit Review Examiner at Banc of California since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at EverTrust Bank as Vice President, Audit & Loan Review Manager from November 2018 to September 2021. Fernando also has a long history at Cathay Bank, where they held multiple roles including AVP & Loan Review Officer, Loan Review Analyst, Internal Auditor II, Internal Auditor I, and Officer Trainee from 2006 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Project Consultant at Illinois Business Consulting in 2005.

Fernando Frank Chang completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, specializing in Marketing and Operations Management, from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, they attended UCLA for an Extension program focused on Internal Audit and Operational Management. Additionally, in 2005, they completed a Summer Program in Financial Accounting at Parkland College.

Fernando Frank Chang has obtained several certifications in their career. In March 2011, they became a Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) through The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Subsequently, in September 2012, they earned a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the same institution. In May 2015, they obtained the Certified Lender Business Banker (CLBB) designation from the American Bankers Association. In April 2018, they became a licensed Real Estate Salesperson through the California Department of Real Estate.

Most recently, in May 2021, Fernando Frank Chang acquired the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Furthermore, in December 2022, they attained the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification from the American Bankers Association.
