Jagdeep Singh Sahota has extensive work experience in the financial services and technology industries. Jagdeep Singh currently holds the role of Chief Payments Officer and EVP at Banc of California since 2022. Prior to this, they had a role at NMI as the Vice President of Product & Strategic Partnerships from 2020 to 2022. In their position, Sahota developed long-term partnerships and drove strategic alliances within the NMI ecosystem. Before their time at NMI, Sahota worked at Salesforce as a Senior Director of Strategic Product Partnerships from 2019 to 2020, where they played a key role in developing and managing product partnerships for Salesforce Industries cloud. Jagdeep Singh also served as an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2017 to 2019. Sahota's earlier experience includes roles at Visa and PayPal, where they held various senior positions such as Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, Senior Business Leader, Senior Product Manager, and Senior Systems Architect. Jagdeep Singh was involved in leading development projects, developing proof of concepts, and designing innovative solutions in areas such as mobile payments, prepaid banking services, and IoT commerce. Sahota's work at Visa included being the lead architect and patent holder for dCVV card authentication solution and designing globally interoperable contactless (NFC) and mobile specifications for Visa. Jagdeep Singh holds a vast experience in driving partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, and developing innovative products in the payments industry.

Jagdeep Singh Sahota's education history begins in 1980 when they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for their high school education. Jagdeep Singh completed their high school education at Pinole Valley High from 1988 to 1992 and received a Diploma. In 1996, they furthered their education at San Francisco State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
