Thomas Schroder

Thomas Schroder is a seasoned banking professional specializing in life sciences venture banking. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for Banc of California since November 2023, Thomas previously held the same title at Pacific Western Bank from April 2019 to November 2023, following the merger of the two institutions. Thomas's career also includes roles as Vice President for Square 1 Bank, where Thomas worked from October 2014 until its acquisition in April 2019, and various positions at Wells Fargo, including AVP and Client Manager in life sciences banking. Earlier experience includes managing a self-directed equities portfolio at Schonfeld and a summer internship at Asset Management Systems. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
