Ying Hoffesommer

Ying Hoffesommer has a strong background in tax, with experience in various roles at different companies. Ying began their career as a Tax Associate at Ernst & Young in 1995 and later moved on to PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Tax Manager for six years. In 2004, they joined Ernst & Young again, this time as a Tax Manager. In 2006, they gained experience at both Intel and Veleant Pharmaceuticals International as a Senior Tax Specialist and Senior Tax Analyst, respectively. Ying then joined Aegis USA, Inc. as the Director of Tax and Equity in 2008, handling a wide range of tax compliance responsibilities. From 2011 to 2015, Ying served as the Director of Tax at BakerCorp, managing a team and overseeing tax operations in multiple countries. Currently, they hold the role of Senior Vice President of Tax at Banc of California, where they have been working since 2016.

Ying Hoffesommer obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Huron University in 1995. Additionally, Ying obtained the certifications of CGMA from APCPA in July 2014, California Licensed CPA from the California Board of Accountancy in April 2009, and Minnesota Licensed CPA from the Minnesota Board of Accountancy in April 1997.
