Maurizio Fazioli

Maurizio Fazioli possesses extensive experience in credit and operational risk management, currently serving as the Head of Credit Risk Management and Head of Operational Risk at Banca Carige spa since December 2004. Fazioli has been instrumental in implementing significant processes related to operational risk, reputational risk, IT risk, and outsourcing risk within the Chief Risk Officer structure starting in August 2014. Fazioli also led the development of an internal credit rating system aligned with regulatory standards while managing credit risk projects, including the coordination of Basel II methodology validation efforts. Prior experience includes the role of Credit Risk Analyst at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, focusing on rating models and risk-adjusted performance under Basel II guidelines.
