Liviu Tanase

Liviu Tanase is an experienced IT security professional with a robust background in information security operations and telecommunications. Currently serving as IT Security Operations Lead at BCR since April 2022, Liviu previously held the position of Information Security Officer at the Bucharest Stock Exchange from November 2019 to April 2022. Liviu's earlier career includes roles at RCS & RDS, where responsibilities ranged from Information Security Specialist to Junior Information Security Analyst, focusing on information security management systems, threat research, incident response, and risk assessment. Liviu possesses a Master’s degree in Advanced Communications and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
