Simona Olteanu began their work experience in 2010 as an intern at CISV International, where they developed and reviewed activities and resources for peace education programs. Simona also researched and created a pool of resources for the organization to use in its events. In 2011, they joined Raiffeisen Bank Romania as a Management Trainee and later became a Treasury Sales Dealer. From 2013 onwards, they worked at BCR, starting as a PRIME-Financial Expert and progressing to roles such as Risk Manager-ICAAP, Senior Risk Manager-ICAAP, Head of ICAAP, and currently holds the position of Head of Market and Liquidity Risk Department.
Simona Olteanu began their education in 2003 at the "Mihai Viteazul" National College, where they completed their Baccalaureate degree in an unspecified field of study in 2007. Simona then attended Newcastle University from 2007 to 2011, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Management and Japanese. In 2009 to 2010, Simona studied Japanese Culture during their Year Abroad at Kyushu University. Later, in 2012 to 2013, they pursued further education as a Research Student at Kyushu University, focusing on Capital Regulation- Basel III.
