Andrea Ragaini is Deputy General Manager of Banca Generali with responsibility for Wealth Management, Markets, and Products.
Ragaini graduated in Economics and Commerce from the Luigi Bocconi Commercial University in 1990. He began his career at Credito Artigiano SpA where he quickly grew to become head of the proprietary securities portfolio, asset management of significant amounts and the room operational (securities, management, treasury, and foreign exchange).
In 1996 he was hired by Banca Cesare Ponti as head of the Finance Area, becoming, in 1998, Central Director and Member of the General Management Committee. In March 2000 he was appointed General Manager of Banca Cesare Ponti to become, in April 2002, also Chief Executive Officer. He joined Banca Generali on 1 July 2015, assuming the role of Head of the Private Relationship Manager Division and the Wealth Management Department before being appointed Deputy General Manager on 23 June 2016.
