Paola Santarelli

Graduated in economics and commerce with honors from the University of Rome La Sapienza and qualified as a chartered accountant, she immediately committed herself to the real estate business and formed the Santarelli Group, which currently consists of about 40 companies, operating in private construction: residential - office - industrial - commercial and services. She has been president and legal representative, since 1983, of important private building consortia in Rome and has managed all the related activities of the districts and procedures, also realizing many private buildings. Within the Santarelli Group she has held the position of director of several companies; from 1984 to 2011 she was sole director of CO.GE.SAN. Costruzioni Generali Santarelli SpA and is currently sole director of Fortuna Urbis S.r.l., a significant company of the Real Estate Group. She is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Roberto Capucci Srl. He is also President of the Dino and Ernesta Santarelli Onlus Foundation. The Foundation manages the Santarelli collections of sculptures, glyptics, paintings on stone and the collections of architectural fragments and samples of the colored marbles of Imperial Rome, promotes research and dissemination of the history of ancient art and the history of Rome, edits publications and co-editions of art studies, awards scholarships and grants works for art exhibitions. The entire collection of glyptic has been granted on a ten-year free loan to the Capitoline Museums of Rome, taking care of the setting up of the exhibition hall and the educational room. The Foundation allocates profits to works of solidarity and for children.
