Roberto Dumke

Roberto Dumke, CFA has a diverse background in the financial and journalism sectors. Roberto currently holds the role of Head de Research & Partner at ABC Brasil Investment Bank since September 2019. Additionally, they served as the Head of Credit Research at the same company from September 2019 to October 2023.

Prior to Banco ABC Brasil, Roberto worked at Upside Finance - Upside Finanças Corporativas Ltda as a Project Finance Partner/Sócio from June 2018 to September 2019, and as an Associate from August 2017 to May 2018.

Earlier in their career, Roberto gained experience as a Reporter in the fields of Legislation and Taxation as well as Business at DCI between May 2013 and September 2016. Roberto covered various topics such as direct and indirect taxation, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and concessions, competition defense, environmental licensing, and intellectual property.

Before joining DCI, Roberto worked as a Reporter for Folha de S.Paulo, where they focused on economics and finance, specifically retail and economy, from October 2012 to February 2013.

Roberto also completed a trainee program in Economics and Finance as a participant in the Curso Estado de Jornalismo Econômico at O Estado de S. Paulo in July and August 2012. During this time, they had the opportunity to work as a reporter in the newsrooms of Estadão and Agência Estado, as well as attend economics and finance classes taught by professors from FGV-EESP.

Roberto Dumke, CFA holds a Bachelor's degree in Economic Sciences from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a short extension course in Economics at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2012. During their undergraduate studies, Roberto participated in an exchange program at St. Mary's University from 2009 to 2010, where they focused on English and Communication Arts. In 2010, they graduated with a degree in Journalism from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná. Additionally, Roberto has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder designation, completing the CFA Level I, Level II, and Level III exams.
