João Borges

João Borges has over 15 years of professional experience, with their most recent role being the Head of Architecture & Integration at Banco CTT since 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Software Development at Proef from 2017 to 2019, where they managed various projects in the telecommunication, energy, and legal sectors. João also worked as an Associate Specialist and Senior Professional at Novabase from 2013 to 2017, leading architectural and technical projects for financial services clients such as Barclays, Vodafone, and CTT Expresso. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Markdata and Marktest, Lda., from 2011 to 2013 and 2005 to 2010, respectively.

João Borges holds a Master's Degree in Security in Distributed Systems, which they obtained from Universidade Nova de Lisboa in the years 2007 to 2008. João also has a Post-Graduate degree in Project Management from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, completed in the years 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where they studied from 1999 to 2005.
