Jorge Roa Marcano

Jorge Roa Marcano is a seasoned telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Banco de Chile since June 2019. Prior to this role, Jorge held positions at Falabella as a Telecommunications Engineer and at Dimension Data Chile as a Specialist Engineer L2 Project. Jorge's career includes service as a Junior Consultant at Triops Solutions, where expertise in Cisco and Microsoft technologies was utilized to design network solutions. Additionally, Jorge led the Pre-sales team in Venezuela at -NETDATA- and contributed to education as a CCNA Instructor at Academia de Redes Fundanet. Early in the career, Jorge gained practical experience through an internship at Daycohost and academic support as a course preparer at UCAB. Jorge holds an Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from both UCAB and Universidad de Chile.
