Margarida Sónia Tembe

Margarida Silva is a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services, having transitioned from Software Development Engineer I within the same company since September 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Lab (LIACC @FEUP) and a Software Engineer position at Jumpseller, where work focused on enhancing user customization features in web themes. Margarida has also served as a Teaching Assistant at FEUP, significantly improving students' understanding of algorithm design, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, where project developments were validated by prominent AI researchers. Educational accomplishments comprise an Integrated Master in Informatics and Computing Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a postgraduate experience at The University of Edinburgh.
