Yrius Carboni has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. In 2001, they started their career as a football youth player for FC Internazionale Milano. Yrius then went on to play professionally for Helmond Sport and FC Eindhoven from 2007 to 2008. Yrius transitioned to the corporate world, joining Ford Motor Company in 2011 as a Program Management Intern.
In 2013, Yrius became a Product Development Analyst at Ford, where they worked in program management. Yrius later took on the role of Product Development Engineer and was involved in two different global product developments. During this time, Yrius collaborated with international teams and led launch build phases remotely from Brazil.
In 2019, Yrius joined Banco do Brasil Americas as a Payment Products Specialist. Yrius was responsible for developing and maintaining payment products, as well as analyzing and resolving product issues. Yrius then advanced to the position of AVP - Strategy & Risk Projects Management Spv, where they led the development and implementation of strategic projects using various frameworks and technologies.
Currently, Yrius holds the position of VP - Channels Manager at Banco do Brasil Americas, where they oversee customer services management and continues to contribute to the development and implementation of strategic projects.
Throughout their career, Yrius has acquired several certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Six Sigma Green Belt. Their extensive experience in project management, strategy, risk management, and product development highlights their ability to excel in dynamic and cross-functional environments.
Yrius Carboni, PMP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma Green Belt, has a diverse education history that spans various fields. Yrius started their educational journey by enrolling in the Ivan on Tech Academy in 2020, where they studied blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and programming. Prior to this, Yrius pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2014 to 2017, focusing on Project Management. Before their MBA, Yrius earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Salvador, having studied from 2010 to 2013. In 2008 and 2009, Yrius attended Salem University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Administração de Empresas.
In addition to their formal education, Yrius holds several certifications. They completed the CS50's Computer Science for Business Professionals course through HarvardX, an online learning initiative by Harvard University in partnership with edX, in May 2020. In April 2020, Yrius also successfully completed the Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) course offered by the University of Michigan. Yrius further expanded their expertise with certifications such as the Professional Scrum Master and Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org, obtained in September 2018. In August 2018, Yrius achieved the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, in December 2017, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Ford Motor Company. Lastly, in August 2019, Yrius attained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, also from the Project Management Institute.
