Marcelo Delgado C. is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience in corporate banking, commercial, and financial sectors in Ecuador. Currently serving as Gerente Nacional Banca Especializada at Banco Internacional Ecuador, Marcelo is responsible for the planning, direction, and control of the national strategy and commercial plan for Private and Institutional Banking segments. Previously, Marcelo held roles such as Gerente de Negocios Banca Corporativa, Empresarial y Privada at Banco del Austro, leading commercial strategy and business planning while increasing new client relationships significantly. Marcelo also has expertise in financial consulting and has managed various banking operations, demonstrating a strong aptitude for business development, process optimization, and customer relationship management. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a degree in Commercial Engineering with a focus on Finance from Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE.
