Maria Lucila Cabello has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Maria Lucila currently holds the role of Head of Operational Risk, Social, Environmental & Climate Risk (ESG Risks), and Business Continuity at Safra since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Santander Brasil from 2009 to 2019, where they held various roles such as Superintendente - Operational Risk e Compliance - Corporate & Investment Banking and Superintendente - Middle Office Global Transaction Banking & Project Finance- Corporate & Investment. Maria also worked at Banco Santander from 2006 to 2009 in the position of Strategy & Business Development Associate. In addition, they have previously worked at Banco de Venezuela | Grupo Santander and Citi, where they gained experience in services consultancy and business planning. Maria Lucila began their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Senior and Junior Auditor in financial institutions.
