Mario Roberto Opice Leao

Mario Roberto Opice Leao has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as CEO of Santander Brasil since October 2015, and previously holding the position of Executive Vice President in Corporate and Investment Banking. Prior to Santander Brasil, Mario held significant roles at Morgan Stanley as Managing Director and Global Capital Markets Head for Brazil, and at Goldman Sachs as Vice President overseeing Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities Sales in Brazil. Additionally, Mario served as Vice President at Citi, specializing in Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities Structuring. Mario holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP and completed secondary education at Colégio Santa Cruz.
