Alejandro Pineda

Alejandro Pineda is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and investment banking across multiple regions. Currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance for Colombia and Central America at Santander since March 2023, Alejandro previously held various roles at Citi, including Director and Vice President from August 2018 to March 2023. Alejandro also served as Vice President at Lazard from September 2013 to May 2018 and had a long tenure at Citi from July 2002 to August 2013, where Alejandro progressed through several positions including Vice President in the Corporate & Investment Bank. Alejandro began the career as an Analyst in the Latin America Investment Banking Division. Educationally, Alejandro earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes between 1997 and 2002.
