Federico Gómez Sánchez is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in economic research and sustainability. Currently serving as Group Vice President in the Economic Research Department and as Head of Sustainability at Banco Santander since May 2007, Federico has contributed significantly to the field as a Senior Economist for Spain and Latin America. Prior to this, Federico held the position of Economic Policy Advisor at the Office of the President of the Government from May 2004 to May 2007. Additional experience includes roles as Deputy Director of Marketing and in Business Development at MEFF from October 2000 to May 2004, and as an Analyst for Spain and Latin America at InterMoney from June 1995 to October 2000. Federico Gómez Sánchez holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
