Ismael Gomez

Ismael Gomez, CFA, currently serves as Executive Director of the Structured Finance Group for Asia Pacific and the Middle East at Santander, where responsibilities encompass the origination of structured financing transactions across various asset types, with a focus on ESG and digital finance initiatives. Previously, Ismael held senior vice president positions within the same group, managing asset finance transactions and syndication efforts for aviation and shipping portfolios. Ismael's extensive experience includes a tenure as Customer Finance Manager at Airbus, facilitating financing for airlines, alongside various engineering roles at Airbus and ENAC. Ismael holds an MBA in Finance and a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, complemented by management training at IESE Business School.
