Pedro Castro e Almeida

Pedro Castro e Almeida has extensive experience in the banking sector, notably serving as the Regional Head of Europe and CEO at Santander from January 2005 to September 2023. In addition to these roles, Pedro was a Member of the Board for Portugal and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Santander Totta Seguros. Earlier in his career, Pedro worked in the Finance Department at Arthur Andersen from January 1990 to January 1992. Educationally, Pedro holds a degree from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management and completed a program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business titled "The Innovative Technology Leader" in January 2018.
