J. Edward Keyes

J. Edward Keyes is the current editorial director at Bandcamp. Prior to that, they were with VICE media LLC from March 2015 to December 2015 as the editor in chief of Live Nation TV. There, they developed the editorial launch strategy for the Vice/Live Nation joint venture, conceptualized the editorial mission for the site, and developed and edited all editorial features. J. also has experience as a pop critic, writing a monthly column called "Hang the DJ" for Philadelphia City Paper from January 2006 to December 2010 that paired new releases by indie bands with those by chart-topping pop stars. J. has also written freelance for Rolling Stone Magazine from January 2006 to January 2013.

J. Edward Keyes earned a BA in English from Cairn University, after which they pursued a career in English education. J. later returned to school to earn an MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University.
