Shantanu Sengupta

Mr. Sengupta is their Head of Retail Banking in India. He brings 27 years of rich experience in the Banking & Financial Services Industry in India having served in different leadership and client-facing roles.

As Managing Director & Head of Consumer Banking for DBS Bank India, he oversaw the successful launch and scaling up of “digibank by DBS” - India’s first mobile-first, paperless, signatureless digital bank & DBS Group’s first country of launch. Additionally, he was also instrumental in building up the Consumer Banking business of DBS Bank in India. Prior to DBS, he led the Retail Bank at RBS India having shaped his leadership through different stints in ABN Amro Bank, Citibank & Bank of America.
