Saravanan Srinivasan has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Saravanan is currently working as the Chief Engineer (E&M, Depot E&M, L&E) at Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited since January 2023. Previously, they held the position of Assistant Vice President, Head E&M at Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. from July 2021 to January 2023. Before that, they worked as the General Manager HEAD E&M at the same company from July 2018 to May 2021. Saravanan also has experience working as an Electrical Engineer at HOSMAC middle east DMCC from October 2015 to December 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead - Electrical at Tesco HSC from December 2013 to October 2015. Saravanan started their career as a Design Engineer at ABB Limited in July 2005 and worked there until November 2013. Saravanan also had roles as a Design engineer at Elins Switchboard Pvt. Ltd. from November 2003 to July 2005, and as a Design & Site Engineer at SPIC SMO from August 1998 to August 2003. Saravanan's work experience began as an Apprenticeship Trainee at E.I.D. PARRY (I) LTD. in August 1997.
Saravanan Srinivasan began their education at Pandiyan polytechnic in Tirupattur, Tamilnadu, where they obtained their Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from 1994 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a B.tech. in Electrical Engineering at Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation Deemed University in Salem, Tamilnadu, from 2002 to 2005. Later on, Saravanan obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from Annamalai University from 2014 to 2016.
