Jose Saavedra, C.M.,M.E.

Jose F. Saavedra is the Director of Industry Programs for the American Association of Airport Executives. He is responsible for overseeing the Airport Consortium on Customer Trust (ACT) Program. In his role, Jose works closely with a variety of airport leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative solutions across the industry. Before joining AAAE, Jose worked for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport and the Midland International Air & Space Port. His areas of expertise include airport operations, aviation security, business development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Jose holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Airport Management from the University of North Dakota. He also earned a Master’s degree in Innovation Leadership and Entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University.
