Nyah Lowe

Nyah Lowe has recently studied BSc Marine Biology & Oceanography here at Bangor University. She has been elected to serve as your Students' Union President for this academic year. Previously she was a club committee member, the mental health champion for the Student Council and a halls mentor for the 2021-22 academic year. Nyah grew up in Pembrokeshire before moving to Bangor to begin her studies in 2019. In her spare time, she enjoys competitive sailing and photography. She believes that she can help the Students’ Union make and keep positive changes in the transition period to a post covid world. Her priorities for this year are, supporting students during the cost-of-living crisis, improving, and maintaining blended learning, and improving support for student Mental Health and student resources such as the libraries and launderettes.
