Simona Frau

Simona Frau currently serves as the Head of Format Acquisition & Development at Banijay Italia, a position held since November 2019. Previously, Simona was the Head of Formats at Magnolia S.p.A. from 2009 to November 2019, overseeing the scouting and acquisition of international formats, as well as adapting them for the Italian market. Prior experience includes a role in Original Development & Research at Nova T- immagini senza frontiere, where Simona contributed to a documentary series, and an internship at the Trento Film Festival. Simona holds multiple degrees from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, culminating in a Master’s in Analysis and Designing of TV Products, alongside an extensive background in media communication and marketing.
