Nicole Hunter has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. Nicole began their career at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, where they held various roles, including Marketing Communications Manager and Online Campaign Manager. Nicole then moved on to work for Flight Centre as a Team Leader, overseeing store operations and driving sales. Hunter later joined GE Money, where they served as a Marketing Manager for Myer and Coles, leading the launch of new credit card programs and executing marketing campaigns. Nicole continued to gain experience in the airline industry, working for Jetstar Airways as a Manager in both Direct Marketing and Marketing for the Australian region. Hunter then took on the role of General Manager of Marketing and Communications at Lort Smith, where they developed the strategic marketing direction and grew the brand. Nicole later became Chief Commercial Officer at Bountify, where they managed the marketing strategy and customer experience. Most recently, Hunter served as Head of Marketing at Bank Australia, where they set the strategic direction for the marketing program and was responsible for the bank's brand and content strategies.

Nicole Hunter has an education history that includes attending Wesley College from 1992 to 1993 where they obtained a VCE. Nicole then went on to Swinburne University of Technology from 1994 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Marketing. In 2023, they attended the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising for the Ad Net Zero Essentials program and the University of Cambridge for The Prince of Wales Business and Sustainability program.
