Stephen Cone, MBA, ASQ-CSSGB, CSPO, CSM

Stephen Cone has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Stephen is currently serving as a Technical Product Manager at Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union. Prior to this, they worked at USAA as the Lead Experience Owner/Product Management Director from June 2017 to July 2021.

Before their time at USAA, Stephen held various positions at HEB, including Senior Manager of Process Improvement, Manufacturing, where they oversaw staffing, project selection, and budgets for continuous improvement initiatives. Stephen also implemented tools and processes to collect real-time data for root cause analysis, resulting in $12M annual savings.

Stephen also has experience in the military, having served as a Senior Medical Adviser on a deployed mission with the US Army in Kabul. Stephen was also an Operations Manager and Medical Manager in various positions within the US Army.

Stephen's career also includes working as an IT Project Manager at USAA and as a Senior Consultant at USC Consulting Group. Stephen'sexpertise spans project management, process improvement, and healthcare operations.

Stephen Cone has a diverse education history in various fields. Stephen obtained a Master's in Procurement & Acquisition from Webster University in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master's in Healthcare Administration with a focus on Healthcare Management in 2013. In 2012, they earned a Master's in Information Technology Management, specializing in Information Technology. Additionally, in 2008, they completed a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Administration.

Stephen Cone's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from the University at Albany, SUNY, which they obtained in 1994.

In terms of certifications, they became a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) through the Scrum Alliance in March 2022. Stephen also holds an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ - World Headquarters, obtained in June 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) - MENA in May 2014. Lastly, they became SAFe® 4 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager through Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2017.
