TaTanisha Baker, SSCP

TaTanisha Baker, SSCP has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. TaTanisha is currently the Director of IT Shared Services at Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union, where they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Support Supervisor at Jenner & Block from April 2021 to October 2022.

Before their role at Jenner & Block, TaTanisha served as a Technical Director at Creative Information Technology, Inc. from February 2020 to April 2021. In this role, they played a critical liaison role between IT and other business units, overseeing compliance initiatives and healthcare projects.

From August 2016 to February 2020, TaTanisha held the position of Director of Information Technology & Services at the U.S. Council on Competitiveness. In this role, they established a Disaster Recovery plan and a Security Awareness program.

Prior to that, TaTanisha worked at GW Medical Faculty Associates as the Sr. Dir. Of Info. Security from March 2012 to August 2016. TaTanisha was responsible for creating a security program and ensuring compliance with HIPAA requirements.

Earlier in their career, TaTanisha served as a Technical Support Engineer at South River Technologies from February 2009 to March 2012. TaTanisha provided pre-sales support and assisted customers in troubleshooting technical issues.

TaTanisha also gained experience as a Network Engineer at GWU Medical Faculty Associates from February 2004 to January 2009. Their responsibilities included managing the helpdesk portal, network systems, and disaster recovery.

In addition, TaTanisha worked at John Snow, Inc. (JSI) as a Systems Support Manager from October 1999 to February 2004. TaTanisha was responsible for managing the IT team, helpdesk staff, and executing the technical direction of JSI/DC. Prior to this role, they served as a Network/User Support Specialist at John Snow Inc from October 1999 to September 2002. Their responsibilities included installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment and software.

Throughout their career, TaTanisha has demonstrated their expertise in IT management, compliance, security, and technical support.

TaTanisha Baker received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from Temple University from 1989 to 1993. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification from (ISC)² in May 2019. Additionally, they obtained an ITIL Foundation v3 certification from Peoplesoft in April 2013, a Bomgar Certified Administrator certification from Bomgar University in February 2013, a Secret clearance from the Federal Government in January 2019, and a Novell Engineer certification from Novell in January 2008.
