Corey Thomaston

Corey Thomaston has extensive experience in talent development and coaching, currently serving as Talent and Professional Development Officer, Leader, and Development Coordinator at Bank Independent since June 2019, focusing on career pathing and development. Prior to this role, Corey held various coaching positions, including Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Russellville High School, Head Men’s Basketball Coach/Assistant Baseball Coach at Shoals Christian School, and Head Women’s Basketball Coach at LeTourneau University. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Radford University, as well as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of North Alabama. Corey holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies, both from the University of North Alabama.
