Micayla R.

Micayla R. has extensive work experience in executive assistant and chief of staff roles. Micayla started their career in 2007 as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Tilton Automotive Group and then moved on to work at Zynga, ProsperWorks Inc., and MJM Global Insurance Brokerage Group, Inc. in similar roles.

In 2013, Micayla joined Schoology as the first Executive Assistant to the CEO/Co-Founder, where they focused on establishing structure and processes within the executive team. Schoology was successfully acquired by PowerSchool in 2019.

After the acquisition, Micayla joined PowerSchool Group LLC as a Strategic Programs Analyst in the Office of the Chief of Staff. Micayla'sresponsibilities included assisting the team with the integration of Schoology.

In 2020, Micayla joined BARK, a monthly subscription service for dogs, as the first Executive Assistant to the CEO. Micayla played a crucial role in building efficiency, establishing processes, and creating structure within C-level and senior leadership. BARK had a successful IPO in 2021.

In the same year, Micayla joined On Deck as a Chief of Staff Fellow, focusing on leveling up knowledge, skills, and confidence as a chief of staff through education modules.

Currently, Micayla is working at Novo as the Director of Business Operations, Ecosystem. Micayla'srole involves overseeing strategic functions to ensure the business can scale to its fullest potential.

Micayla R. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Health from Rutgers University.
