Jacob Taylor

Jacob Taylor currently serves as the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance & City Regeneration at Brighton & Hove City Council since May 2023, representing the Labour Party as a Councillor for the Moulsecoomb & Bevendean ward. In addition, Jacob has extensive experience at Bank of America since September 2011, where roles have included Director of Global Markets COO, Director of EMEA Equities Distribution, and responsibilities related to EMEA FICC Trading, Regulatory Initiatives, and the Volcker Rule. Jacob's career began with an internship at Mazars in the Audit department. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Economic History and Economics from The University of Manchester and A-Levels in Economics, History, and English Literature from Varndean College.
