Antoun Samia

Antoun Samia has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Antoun began their career in 2000 at Blominvest Bank SAL as a Senior Analyst in the Economic Research Department. Antoun then worked at BLOM Bank, where they held various roles, including Deputy-Head of Risk Management and Head of Market Risk. In 2008, they joined Société Générale de Banque au Liban SAL as a Manager in Risk Management. In 2012, they became the Group Chief Risk Officer at Bank of Beirut, a position they currently hold. In 2016, they also took on the role of Non Executive Director at Bank of Beirut (UK) Ltd. Overall, Antoun Samia has extensive experience in risk management and has held leadership positions in multiple banks.

Antoun Samia completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering at Lebanese American University from 1992 to 1997. Antoun then pursued an MBA with a specialization in Finance at the American University of Beirut from 1998 to 2001. In 2002 to 2004, Antoun Samia successfully passed the Level 2 Exam of the CFA Institute, focusing on Financial Analysis.
