Anna B. currently serves as a Principal Supervisor at the Bank of Canada since May 2023. Previously, Anna was the Manager of Policy and Research at the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation from September 2020 to June 2023, focusing on fintech, digitalization, and climate risk. Prior to that role, Anna spent nearly a decade at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada, where responsibilities included developing regulatory capital requirements for life insurance companies and leading a team assessing statutory applications from financial institutions. Earlier experience includes serving as an Economist at the Insurance Bureau of Canada. Anna holds a Master of Arts in Economics from York University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and Business from the same institution.
