Jean-François Tremblay is the Deputy Managing Director of Financial & Enterprise Risk at the Bank of Canada. Prior to their current role, they worked as an economist and policy adviser for the Federal Government of Canada for over 10 years. In their last role with the government, they served as acting chief of the Financial Sector Policy Branch. As an economic policy adviser, they provided analysis and advice on a variety of economic issues and was also involved in trade negotiations.
Jean-François Tremblay has a Masters Certificate in Risk Management and Business Performance from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Jean-François also has a Masters in Political Science (International Political Economy) from the University of Ottawa.
