Natasha Khan is currently the Senior Director of Financial Stability at the Bank of Canada. Prior to their current role, Khan served as both the Senior Planning Manager of Retail and the Finance Manager at Jones Apparel Group. In their role as Senior Planning Manager of Retail, Khan was responsible for developing yearly budgets to support corporate strategies, providing merchandise assortment plans to the retail buying team, managing inventory allocations to retail stores, and validating and approving monthly pricing markdowns. As Finance Manager, Khan oversaw the Inventory and Retail accounting functions within the Finance department, materially decreased surplus inventory units per season, implemented the monitoring and documentation of purchases, and set up the reconciliation of purchases to budgeted sales. Khan also established a monthly Retail P&L file to provide management with comparative analytics relating to sales and profitability trending, and SG&A expenses variances. In addition, they were responsible for reviewing and approving bank reconciliations and sales tax submissions for 4 provinces, analyzing Inventory balance sheets and total company P&Ls for month end close, and preparing SG&A expense budgets for over 35 Retail stores.

Natasha Khan has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from CGA and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Natasha also has an Associate's Degree in Accounting from the Association of Accounting Technicians.
