Robert Miller possesses extensive experience in financial risk and trading, currently serving as a Principal Analyst in the Financial Risk Office at the Bank of Canada since July 2005. Prior roles include Senior Trader/Analyst in Market Analysis and Operations at the Bank of Canada, Project Manager in the Market Risk Management Department at Export Development Canada, and Senior Treasury Officer at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Miller's career began at CIBC as an Account Officer in the Commercial Banking Centre, with subsequent positions such as FX Trader at Continental Futures and Commodity Futures Broker at Global Futures Exchange & Trading Company. Additionally, Miller held Assistant Treasurer roles at both Mitel and Zarlink Semiconductor, and served as Acting Director of Foreign Exchange at CWB. Education culminated in a degree from The University of British Columbia from 1984 to 1989.
