Ed Dew

Ed Dew has extensive experience at the Bank of England, starting in July 2001 as a Research Assistant and culminating in the role of Senior Manager Banknote Analysis, Strategy and Engagement since September 2004. In this capacity, Ed leads a team focused on understanding banknote demand and preparing for new banknotes. Additionally, Ed has served as Head of Operational Risk, overseeing the Operational Risk and Resilience Team to manage operational risks effectively. Ed holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Bath.
