Hardeep Rai

Hardeep Rai is a Senior Manager and co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Group at the Bank of England, managing a team overseeing the supervision of a globally systemic important bank's capital, liquidity, and various risk factors. Since joining the Bank of England in July 2019, Hardeep has held multiple senior roles, including leading the Financial Markets Infrastructure Directorate's Projects Pool team and directing data and analytics initiatives to inform policy-making for financial stability. Prior experience includes engagement and consulting roles at Oliver Wyman, a strategy analyst position at Laing O'Rourke, and a financial analyst role at UBS Investment Bank. Hardeep holds a first-class honors degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and served as President of the Oxford Investment and Finance Society during studies.
